Set on a peaceful 110-acre working alpaca farm in Lauriston, Shepherds Hill Stays offers two thoughtfully restored farm accommodations – a cosy heritage Cottage and the charming Shearers Quarters. Located close to Kyneton, Daylesford and the surrounding Macedon Ranges villages, our private farm stay is designed for couples and small families seeking a slower, more considered escape.

Your Hosts
Shepherds Hill Stays is hosted by Liz and Keith, who have spent more than 25 years breeding alpacas and caring for this land through Buckland Alpacas, one of Australia’s leading alpaca studs. Their deep respect for the land, the animals and the slower pace of country life shapes every part of the guest experience.
In 2008, Liz and Keith founded Alpaca Passion in Daylesford – a boutique destination for premium alpaca clothing and homewares. Guests staying at Shepherds Hill Stays are invited to enjoy exclusive offers during their visit, extending the farm experience beyond the paddock and into thoughtfully made, lasting pieces.
